At GIOT we treat your data with the same calm we put into the pieces: we collect the minimum, keep it safe and share it with no one who isn't working for you.

Who is responsible

GIOT, a ready-to-wear house founded in Madrid ({{ PENDING: legal name, tax ID and registered address }}). For anything about your data, write to contact@giot.com.es.

What we collect, and why

The private list: your email, only if you join, to write to you about the collection and atelier appointments. It is stored in Shopify with your consent, and you can leave whenever you like — write to us, or use the unsubscribe link whenever you receive our emails.

Appointments: the details you send in the form — name, contact and whatever you'd like to tell us — so we can look after you. They arrive to our inbox and are used for nothing else.

Purchases, once the store is active: the data needed for your order — name, addresses, email and payment. Payment is processed by Shopify's secure checkout; GIOT never sees or stores your full card details.

Technical data: light, aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used. No advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking.

On what basis

Your consent (the private list), our relationship with you (appointments and orders) and our legitimate interest in a site that works and stays secure (technical data).

Who helps us process it

Shopify (the store platform), Vercel (the site's hosting and analytics) and Resend (the appointment emails). They process data on our behalf; some do so from outside the EU under the safeguards approved by the European Commission (standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

For how long

The private list, until you unsubscribe. Orders, for as long as tax law requires. Appointments, for as long as it takes to look after you.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, erase it, object, restrict its use or take it with you. Write to contact@giot.com.es and we'll take care of it. If you feel something wasn't properly resolved, you can turn to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

We use essential cookies and light analytics. When you arrive you can keep only the essential ones in one tap, and your choice is remembered in your browser.
